… so lautete Nichola Formichettis Stellungnahme, nachdem er bei der Premiere seiner ersten Männermodenkollektion in Paris als neuer Kreativchef bei Thierry Mugler danach gefagt wurde, warum er sich ausgerechnet Zombie Boy Rico als Muse für seinen Einstand ausgesucht habe.
Der gebürtige Japaner Formichetti ist Fashion Director der Vogue Hommes Japan und schreibt unter anderem für das V- Magazine und Dazed & Confused, den meisten bekannt geworden ist er aber sicher vor allem durch seine Arbeit als Stylist von Lady Gaga, die sich übrigens für die musikalische Leitung der Show und des Videos verantwortlich zeigt.
Weg von Formichettis Musen hin zur eigentlichen Show zitiere ich aus einem Artikel von Schneiers auf style.com:

Dem kann ich wenig hinzufügen, mir gefiel das Konzept und ich fand die Show in sich sehr stimmig und gut, ganz besonders (Achtung, persönlicher Geschmack), mochte ich die reduzierten und weniger schrillen Teile, die, entsprechend kombiniert, auch im Alltag ganz gut tragbar sind.
Wer noch mehr lesen und vor allem sehen will gehe HIER hin, ich merke gerade dass ich unbedingt mal ein Post über Thierry Mugler selbst verfassen muss, liebe ich doch seine früheren opulenten und dramatischen Werke. Ich werde mich aber hüten, den Herrn bzw dessen Arbeiten hier noch mit reinzuquetschen, darum enden wir heute mit Formichetti und noch ein paar fantastischen Showbildern von Jak & Jil und style.com:
